DVD Region codes
Within Properties there is no DVD Region tab as there is with my other DVD drive. The information with the drive says that drivers do not need to be installed. So why is XP complaining (and how do I get it to stop!)? -- Frank Beware spamtrap - remove the negative.

I have even tried with a region 2 disc in drive but no luck Try it through the properties in the device manager. WinKey + Pause Break (or system icon in the control panel) > hardware tab > device manager > expand CD/DVD > right click the drive in question > select properties > DVD Region tab.

DVD won't play at all
